Jerez, MotoGP test: X-802 and Casey Stoner ahead of everybody else at the first official meet of the

Great weekend for our rider Casey Stoner, who in the IRTA tests in Jerez came in as the fastest of all, closing with the superb time of 1'38"646 thereby also winning himself the BMW up for grabs for the fastest lap in the 40' of timed tests. Jorge Lorenzo (X-lite X-802) rounded off his fastest time on Saturday with an excellent fourth place at the end of the session, boding very well indeed for the coming season.
Positive tests for Marco Melandri too, who finished in 12th position with his new Hayate still to be perfected.
The brand new X-802 provided superb accompaniment, protecting all three riders throughout the tests.
